Here’s a summary of the role:
Working closely with senior researchers, account management, new business, and offshore operations teams, you will help design and deliver high-quality research that meets client briefs, remains unbiased, and stands up to scrutiny — maintaining YouGov’s strong reputation and media presence.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Support senior researchers in the design and delivery of domestic and international quantitative research projects (end-to-end project management)
- Develop and apply strong research fundamentals, including best-practice questionnaire design
- Create data analysis plans and interpret findings to generate clear, actionable insights

- Collaborate with colleagues to quality-check and deliver projects to a high standard
- Attend client meetings at various stages, including proposal discussions, project updates, reporting presentations, and follow-ups
- Learn and apply internal systems, tools, and processes
These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:
- Quantitative primary research experience in a client-facing role
- Degree or HND in a relevant subject (e.g., social sciences, English) desirable, or equivalent industry experience
- Industry-recognised qualification (e.g., MRS Advanced Certificate) desirable
- Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication skills
- Basic understanding of statistics and quantitative analysis (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines effectively
