Description

We are looking for a researcher with experience using a wide range of research and evaluation methods, tools, analysis techniques and reporting formats; to help us deliver our research, insight, and evaluation programmes.

Closing date: 5 July 2021 (9am)

Interview dates: w/c 12 July 2021 (by videoconference)

Salary: £30,993 - £37,823 per annum depending on skills and experience, plus benefits

Location: Canary Wharf, London (currently home-based)

Hours: 35 hours per week, from 9.00 to 5.00, Monday to Friday

The role

Working in a great team, you will actively play an important part in contributing to the understanding of what we do and how we make a difference as an organisation, covering three programmes of work in research, insight and evaluation and delivery of our public consultations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and proactive researcher or evaluator with knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have proven evaluation and research skills and experience in working with and utilising a range of evaluation and research methods using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
  • Be experienced in analysingand synthesising evidence and research to extract useful insight to distil recommendations on improving decision making, systems or procedures.
  • Understand the importance of building effective relationships, taking responsibility and working as a team to support and deliver multiple projects across a broad range of policy areas and services.
  • Be able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, whilst working efficiently to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Be experienced in drafting good quality, engaging and accessible reports and/or outputs, including communicating complex analysis in a range of formats to technical and non-technical audiences.
